A few gigs and a few videos

After a gap of not going out to see live music for quite some time. I ventured out to see something new and something old. First up a fairly new artist, “Billie Marten” live in Oxford Jericho Tavern. An iconic venue in Oxford and a cracking night of indie folk.

Quickly followed by a night away in Sheffield to see the truly awesome CUD band (80s/90s indie pop sensation – so says me). Again live in an iconic venue the Leadmill (first time at the venue for me).

So good to back out watching gigs and catching a few moving memories on my iPhone.

Sunset Panoramas – first photos in a long time………

The recent restrictions have deterred my enthusiasm for carrying my camera while out walking on my daily exercise. That is until the other night when going out for a walk and the sun illuminated the Bicester skies. I am so glad I took out my camera and took some panoramas of the countryside to the North of Bicester looking out onto the Eco town.

On the way home a car that clearly needs the garages to re-open now left an atmospheric trail of smoke.

Sony Vegas is dead,long live Magix Vegas

Magix Vegas 14 is here and it is awesome. I received an email in the summer to get Vegas 14 for free (when available) if you buy the older defunct Vegas 13 for £150 now. Seemed a good deal at the time. However, I was underwhelmed by Vegas 13, much the same as my Vegas 12 with the same occasional crashes. Fast forward last week and I downloaded Vegas 14. Not one application crash, much improved stabiliser plug-in, very fast editing even the GoPro 4K footage. A very happy camper. First edit:
